I have now owned my 700 VLS 223 for about a year and a half. The first rounds I shot thru it produced a 1 grooup @ 100yds. Since then With choice ammo it easily produces 1/2 groups.
Anyone looking for a very accurate 223 Bolt action need need not look any further. I cant see why anybody would want a Savage over this. I had the Model 25 in 223 and could not get the bolt open after firing a round. P.O.S. Anyway, The 700 VLS is a great rifle in my opinion.
